The Art of Pianist Peter Miyamoto

While we live in a community that greatly appreciates all local talents (Thank you, Mid-Missouri!!), it is still wonderful to receive raving acknowledgements from out of town, as seen in a recent Fanfare magazine. Please take a moment to read this article. It is not every day that you come across someone who actively performs as much as Dr. Peter Miyamoto, while maintaining a successful studio as a university professor. 

You see, his former protege, pianist Hyunki Yoon - who is currently pursuing DMA at University of Missouri-Kansas City - ALSO won top prizes (plural) in the same competition in different categories. This is only one of many testaments to Peter's tremendous dedication of the highest quality, both as a teacher and as a musician.
