Violinist Lara St. John was one of the Plowman judges in 2019. That same year, she began filming a deeply personal documentary which she premiered in February 2026. This year, Lara returns to Columbia as a filmmaker of “Dear Lara” to lead the discussion about silent sexual abuse in the classical music world. Note: This film may be difficult for some viewers to watch.
